When it comes to modified cars you can't get much better than Nissan Skylines and Toyota Supra's - its an age old argument between importers which is more meaty. While the skyline has four wheel drive and a huge tuning capacity the supra arguably has more grunt out of the stable and the rear wheel drive aspect can be a lot of fun (although obviously dont try rwd power slides on the roads etc etc.) Both cars were made famous by the classic street racing film The Fast and the Furios, arguably the supra was the star of this movie but hey, who would complain about a strait 6 3 litre twin turbo car that looks as good as some of these supra's? Not Us!

The most saught after model of the supra's that hit the uk is the MKIV. The Mark 4 was the last before the car was retired, or is it coming back in the form of the new Lexus LF? we shall see supra buyers, we shall see!

Tuned Supra's
Toyota supra's are a great car from stock - even before you tune a supra it has between 220 and 280 bhp (depending on the location it comes from) which is no small amount of power. The mpg of the supra though is probably not that high. Tuning your supra can be radically expensive depending on how far you want to go - the car is there and ready to be maxxed out, the stock gear box is good for a fair bit more power than it uses.

Supra MKIV
Personal favourite? UK twin turbo strait six manual MKIV - but I mean thats an ideal case - you are far more likely to find an automatic tt (twin turbo) or an older model. This however wont ever be quite as amazing as the uk tt :p
Even at stock - Supra's have been known as porsche killers.
